Liverpool youngster Stephenson signs new contract

Liverpool youth star Lucas Stephenson has signed a new contract at the club.

The Reds have announced on their official website that the 18-year-old midfielder has penned an extension to his current deal.

A combative midfielder who has captained the Under-18s for much of this season, Stephenson has been at Liverpool since the Under-15s level.

He signed his first professional contract with the club in 2020, and has now secured his second deal.

There is no official confirmation of the length of his contract.
