Liverpool youngster Fábio Carvalho joins RB Leipzig on loan

Fábio Carvalho has completed his season-long loan switch from Liverpool to RB Leipzig.

The deal reportedly does not include an option to buy, meaning the 20-year-old is expected to return to his parent club at the end of the 2023/24 season.

Carvalho joined Liverpool from Fulham last summer and made 21 senior appearances in all competitions last term, including 13 in the Premier League.

But with Alexis Mac Allister joining the Reds from Brighton and another midfielder potentially heading to Anfield this summer, Portugal U21 international Carvalho has moved to the Bundesliga in search of more playing time and experience.
