Reds handed key defensive boost for Sunday’s clash
Liverpool have been handed a boost ahead of Sunday’s huge Premier League trip to Tottenham.
The Reds, who have an extra day to recover than Spurs, sit top of the table after a remarkable start to life under Arne Slot.
Chelsea remain in contention for the title too but Slot was able to rest a host of key players for Wednesday’s 2-1 Carabao Cup quarter-final victory at struggling Southampton.
All of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Alisson Becker and Ryan Gravenberch are expected to return for the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, having sat out the midweek victory.
Diogo Jota and Federico Chiesa both made appearances off the bench on the south coast, along with Kostas Tsimikas.
Andy Robertson is also free from suspension following the red card he was shown during the 2-2 draw with Fulham last weekend.
Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate, however, are injured.
Liverpool predicted XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Gomez, Tsimikas; Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo, Nunez
Injured: Bradley, Konate
