Liverpool would love to bring England duo Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice to Anfield, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke.

However, O’Rourke expects deals for the Borussia Dortmund and West Ham midfielders to cost over £200m combined, making the acquisition of both players very unlikely.

Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has informed GIVEMESPORT that Liverpool will “go all out” to sign Bellingham next summer.

The 19-year-old is not the only midfielder currently on Jurgen Klopp’s radar, however, with Rice attracting interest from the Reds, too.

Transfer insider Dean Jones recently told GMS that the West Ham captain is also someone who has caught Liverpool’s attention.

Both players have starred for England at this year’s World Cup, with Bellingham recording an assist in the 3-0 win against Senegal last Sunday.

What has Pete O’Rourke said about Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice and Liverpool?

O’Rourke thinks Klopp would love to sign Bellingham and Rice next summer but cannot see the German landing both due to the amount of money FSG would have to pay.

Speaking to GMS, the journalist said: “I’m sure they would love to consider a double deal for Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham. It’s probably unrealistic to think that Liverpool could pull that one off, though. You’re probably talking over £200m for both of those players and that isn’t going to happen.

“We all know Liverpool’s interest in Jude Bellingham’s been there and now they’re being linked with Declan Rice as well, so it might all come down to who they can agree a deal with club wise.”

Are Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice now two of England’s best players?

Easily. Bellingham is making an impact when going forward for the Three Lions, with the Dortmund star scoring against Iran back in the World Cup group stage before assisting versus Senegal.

As for Rice, he has kept things ticking in midfield. As per WhoScored, the 23-year-old had a pass success rate of 95% during England’s last-16 win. Out of all the players who started that match, only Nampalys Mendy (98%) bettered him in that area.

All things considered, it is not hard to see why Liverpool would want Bellingham and Rice. However, signing one of those players is going to be difficult, let alone both.

Given their quality and experience now, there is going to be a lot of competition for their signatures next summer.
