Another weekend and another Pep Guardiola defeat. Liverpool fans would like to get used to the sound of that.
Manchester City despite tasted defeat to Brighton in what is Guardiola's fourth consecutive defeat - this is the first time that has happened since the Spaniard has arrived in England.
It means Liverpool remain top of the Premier League heading into the November international break and that will be music to the ears of Reds supporters around the world.
City's defeat has therefore put Liverpool in a great position. The last time they were top of the Premier League table during the November international break was back in the 2019/20 campaign when Jurgen Klopp's men were crowned champions.
