Liverpool are watching Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes.

Goal says Liverpool hold an interest in Barnes.

The Reds are “admirers" of the Foxes forward who became a key player for Brendan Rodgers' side last season.

However, even though Liverpool like what they see in Barnes, they will not be able to afford to sign him this summer even if they wanted to.

The report does say that is the case “for this summer at least", opening the door to a potential transfer in the future.
