Liverpool welcome West Ham United to Merseyside on Sunday with the aim to take one step closer to the Premier League title.
Despite a recent dip, optimism is high around Anfield after the news that Mohamed Salah has signed a contract extension. Salah’s new deal could give Liverpool the lift needed, after last weekend’s setback at Fulham.
Arne Slot’s side have lost three of their last four in all competitions but remain 11 points clear in the Premier League title race. A maximum of 11 points from their last seven games will be enough to be crowned champions.
West Ham arrive at Anfield in the midst of a challenging campaign. Graham Potter is still getting to grips with his team after replacing Julen Lopetegui in January. The Hammers have won just two of their last 10 in the league, though that run includes an upset of Arsenal at the Emirates.
Salah’s new deal was not the only good news of Friday morning, with Arne Slot confirming that Alisson Becker is fit to return. The goalkeeper has not featured since sustaining a head injury while representing Brazil last month.
Conor Bradley is also available to give Liverpool a recognised right-back option, in the absence of Trent Alexander-Arnold (ankle).
Joe Gomez and Tyler Morton also remain out for the Reds.
Liverpool predicted XI: Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Szoboszlai; Salah, Diaz, Jota.
Liverpool host West Ham in the Premier League on Sunday 13th April. Kick-off at Anfield is 14:00 BST.
The game will be shown live by Sky Sports in the UK.
