Liverpool are out to end Jurgen Klopp’s tenure on a high.

OneFootball Videos

With the Reds having seen their Premier League title challenge fall away in recent weeks, it is now surely a case of ensuring iconic manager Klopp finishes his trophy-laden stint at Anfield strongly.

After Sunday’s visit of Tottenham, the German will have only one more home match in charge of Liverpool.

It would take a major collapse from both Arsenal and Manchester City to hand Klopp a second League title but it is now a case of making sure his final campaign does not go out with a whimper.

Spurs, meanwhile, have endured a miserable week. They lost the north London derby on Sunday before being beaten by rivals Chelsea on Thursday night.

Date, kick-off time and venue

Liverpool vs Tottenham team news

Virgil van Dijk is a doubt for Liverpool, after missing training this week with an unspecified injury.

It will be fascinating to see whether or not Klopp turns to Mohamed Salah following their clash on the touchline during last week’s draw with West Ham, even if the Liverpool boss has insisted the matter is now resolved.

Conor Bradley is back in contention after returning to fitness, but Diogo Jota remains out. Stefan Bajcetic should once again make the squad, while Joel Matip, Ben Doak and Thiago Alcantara are all still out injured.

Liverpool vs Tottenham prediction

It’s difficult to know what to make of Liverpool, although they do have the attacking talent to hurt a Spurs team dealing with defensive injuries.
