Reds continue title charge in huge Saturday night Premier League showdown
Liverpool welcome Aston Villa in a late Premier League kick-off on Saturday night.
The Reds went top of the table last weekend as Arne Slot continues to impress in the dugout, with a turnaround 2-1 victory over Brighton at Anfield.
Liverpool followed that up with a 4-0 win against German champions Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday, to go top of the table in Europe.
Villa, meanwhile, are smarting from their 4-1 defeat at Tottenham on Sunday, before Unai Emery’s side lost 1-0 at Club Brugge in surprise fashion following a bizarre handball from Tyrone Mings.
