Paris Saint-Germain have focused on signing young, emerging talent in recent transfer windows, but Luis Enrique and Luis Campos recognize that adding experience can be just as crucial—if it aligns with the club’s identity and style of play.

An earlier report from Anfield Watch suggested PSG were preparing an €80 million offer for Virgil van Dijk, spread over two years with an optional third year, along with a substantial signing bonus that could bring the total value to around €100 million.

He’s also been linked with clubs—not just PSG, but Barcelona as well. According to Fichajes, the Catalan side are hoping to land him with a two-year offer despite their financial challenges.

Whether that happens could come down to Van Dijk’s willingness to adjust his salary expectations. His current wages at Liverpool are high, and any potential suitor will have to navigate those numbers carefully.
