Liverpool have turned their attentions to signing Olympiacos left-back Konstantinos Tsimikas.
There have been various reports that the Premier League champions have given up interest in Norwich left-back Jamal Lewis after failing to agree a fee with the Canaries.
Norwich were reported to wanting around £20m for Lewis, with Liverpool having a £10m bid rejected on Thursday.
Now, Jürgen Klopp is eyeing up a move for Tsimikas as he seeks cover for Andrew Robertson.
The 24-year-old made over 46 appearances in all competitions for Olympiacos this season as they won the Greek Super League and reached the last-16 of the Europa League.
Tsimikas laid on seven assists for his teammates and impressed against the domineering figure of Adama Traore in the two Europa League games against Wolves.
The fee is rumoured to be a reported €13m with a medical expected next week.
