Liverpool are facing a triple contract blow in the summer of 2025 with Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Salah is expected to be subject of transfer interest from Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia while there may be options available to him in Europe in the shape of Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Barcelona.
And should the Reds end up losing Salah then his replacement could end coming from Camp Nou.

Liverpool only signed ONE player for the first team last summer with Federico Chiesa arriving from Juventus.
The 27-year-old Italy winger was signed for a knock-down fee, which could reach £12 million, as Juve sought a solution to get his salary off the books.
However, things haven't gone to plan at Anfield for Chiesa, whose injury problems have persisted since he joined - and now he may be on his way back to Italy.

Lyon were handed a provisional RELEGATION to Ligue 2 on Friday by the French football watchdog - the DNCG - as a result of financial mismanagement under owner John Textor.
The storied Ligue 1 side were also BANNED from making any transfers in the upcoming January window with their current debt standing at over €500m.
And now Liverpool could look to capitalise on their downfall after Lyon's owner opened the door to a January exit for one of their best players.

If it wasn’t for a couple of unfortunate injuries, Liverpool’s Stefan Bajcetic could be a regular in Arne Slot’s first-team squad and competing for Ryan Gravenberch’s place at the base of the midfield.
The 20-year-old Spaniard was flying high in Jurgen Klopp’s side in 2023, but an adductor injury suffered in March of that year saw him miss the rest of the season.
He's now out on loan at Red Bull Salzburg, and is facing a big decision come the end of the season about his future in Austria.

If there are any Boston Red Sox fans who also support Liverpool they might be feeling a real sense of deja vu at the moment.
Liverpool are heading towards a potential contractual crisis with Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold all heading towards running down their contracts at the end of the season.
And it looks like FSG might be about to repeat one of their biggest errors as Red Sox owners.

Liverpool Football Club is just one of the assets owned by Fenway Sports Group.
They also own the Boston Red Sox, an American baseball franchise. Initially, things went well for the Red Sox under FSG. Things haven't been quite as fruitful over recent years though, and there are some parallels between how they run the baseball team and how they're running the Reds.
To get a better insight into this, and what Liverpool fans might be able to expect over the next few years, we spoke to the Boston Strong account. Their answers gave us an illuminating insight as to how FSG is viewed by Red Sox fans.
