Liverpool will reportedly allow youngster Mateusz Musialowski to leave the club this summer.

The 19-year-old was dubbed the ‘Polish Messi’ when he switched to the Reds from SMS Lodz in 2020.

However, he failed to make his competitive debut for the club despite training with the first team on several occasions.

The teenager has been praised for his offensive skills, but his defensive game still leaves a lot to be desired.

He started only 13 of the 22 matches for the Under-21 side last season, scoring three goals.

His contract at the English club expires in 2024, but Liverpool are looking to offload him during the summer transfer window – either on loan or permanently.

According to WP SportoweFakty, Musialowski could return to Poland.

The Merseyside giants will reportedly open talks with two clubs in the Ekstraklasa, one of which is Gornik Zabrze while the other is either Widzew Lodz or LKS Lodz.

If the Reds agree to a loan deal, they would likely have to extend the winger’s Anfield contract to ensure they can sell him in the future.

Liverpool have already sanctioned the departures of James Milner, Naby Keita, Roberto Firmino and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this month. Calvin Ramsay and Harvey Davies have exited on loan deals.
