The 26-year-old New Zealand international joins Glasgow City on a free transfer after leaving former club Liverpool at the end of the season.
Moore helped The Reds to the Barclays Women’s Championship title last season. The full-back made nine league appearances for Matt Beard’s side as they ended their two-season absence from the English top flight. Moore spent both second tier seasons with Liverpool after joining the Merseyside club from German side MSV Duisburg in summer 2020.
The player will now be hoping to impress for her new club Glasgow City after securing her move north of the border today.
After signing on at Petershill Park, Moore told Glasgow City’s official media team “First and foremost, I’m very excited to join the club and thankful for Eileen Gleeson and Laura Montgomery’s trust in me as a player and person.
“I believe my work ethic and experience will add and continue the legacy that is Glasgow City FC. The club embodies so much of what I stand for as a person and I cannot wait to get started on the pitch and in the community. I feel this is exactly where I’m meant to be at this point in my career and I am empowered by my decision to sign with such a successful club.”
Moore is the first of Liverpool’s four released players to have signed with a new club for 2022/2023.
