Liverpool are targeting Martín Zubimendi as their first signing of the Arne Slot era.
As per multiple reports, Anfield chiefs have identified the Real Sociedad enforcer as the preferred option to bolster their midfield options.

Zubimendi’s current €60m (£51.6m) release clause is not expected to be a barrier to him becoming the Reds’ marquee summer arrival.
The 25-year-old has become an integral figure for La Real and helped them reach last season’s Champions League round of 16.
He also gained international recognition during Spain’s triumphant EURO 2024 campaign earlier this summer and featured in the final, replacing Rodri at half-time.
