Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané and Virgil van Dijk have all returned to Anfield with knocks following the latest international break.

Salah is believed to have suffered a groin strain, Mané has a broken thumb, whilst Van Dijk was omitted from the Netherlands squad after suffering a rib scare.

To make matters worse, Keïta was withdrawn at half-time during Guinea’s African Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda.

Journalist Amadou Makadji – the man who broke the news that Keïta was joining the Reds from RB Leipzig – said on social media that the 23-year-old was holding the back of his thigh and had to be forced off.

There’s been no official word from Guinea or Liverpool at the moment, but Jürgen Klopp will certainly be fearing the worst ahead of their Premier League clash with Huddersfield on Saturday.
