In a recent report, The Sun has claimed that Liverpool striker Rhian Brewster is a subject of a £17m bid from Sheffield United. It is believed that the Blades have agreed to the Reds’ demands of inserting a £40m buy-back clause and are in pole position to secure his signature before next month’s transfer deadline (via The Sun).

Brewster’s Recent Rise In English Football

Brewster’s first and only appearance for the Merseyside outfit this season came in the FA Community Shield final versus Arsenal last month. He was guilty of missing a crucial penalty in the shootout which saw his team miss out on the trophy for the second year in a row.

However, the 20-year-old showed a few glimpses of what he is capable of during his loan spell with Swansea City, where he registered 11 goals in 22 appearances across all fronts.
