Liverpool have completed the singing of striker Bobby Duncan, the cousin of club legend Steven Gerrard.
The highly-rated 17-year-old arrives at Anfield from Manchester City having turned down the offer of a professional contract after six years with the club, according to Sky Sports.
Announcing the switch via Instagram, he beamed: “I’m Delighted To Announce That I’ve Signed For Liverpool Football Club.
“Waited So long For This Day To Finally Come A Club I’ve Grew Up Watching & Supported All My life ….My Boy Hood Club My Dream !!!!
“Now Lets Get Down to Business #YNWA 🔴🔴🔴”
In 2016, Duncan became the first England player to ever score a hat-trick against Brazil as he played for Under 16s in Rio as the Three Lions ran out 4-3 victors.
The attacker had been training with Wigan’s first-team during his contract stand-off towards the end of last season.
