Liverpool sign defender Woodham | OneFootball

Liverpool have completed the signing of Welsh international Lily Woodham from NWSL side Seattle Reign.

Woodham was part of the Wales team that made history competing at Euro 2025, featuring in all three group games for her country.

The 24-year-old joins on a permanent deal from Seattle Reign after spending the 2024/25 season on loan at Crystal Palace in the WSL last season.

Speaking about her move to the Reds, Woodham told the club's media: "It's amazing. Obviously I'm a fan of Liverpool, so it's a dream come true really.

"I'm really excited to meet everyone. It already feels like a home from home and everyone has been so nice to me and welcomed me.

"I just want to bring everything I can to the team and always give my all in games and training."

Woodham is Liverpool's fourth signing of the summer following the arrival of Kirsty MaClean, Rafaela Borggräfe, and Samantha Kerr.
