Liverpool reporter offers insight into Sadio Mane & Roberto Firmino's contract situations

Liverpool reporter Ian Doyle has offered his thoughts on the contract situations of attacking pair Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.

The Reds have been going along very nicely this season with a settled squad that saw several members earn new deals last summer.

The attacking trio of Mane, Firmino and Mohamed Salah still need fresh terms, though, and Doyle has offered some thoughts on the former duo, via the Liverpool Echo:

Anfield Watch Verdict

It certainly seems as though there are a few things that still need to be sorted within the current squad.

Most of them are at an age where they are in the peak years and that naturally means the club is thinking about the campaigns after they exit that period of time.

Clearly, decisions are going to be needed on a number of players in the next few seasons.
