The report states that Leeds United and Brighton are also interested in the 16-year-old. In fact, Campbell will apparently also visit Leeds United’s training facility and stadium.

The report highlights that all the aforementioned clubs have had bids accepted by Motherwell for Campbell.

However, Football Insider added that Campbell is yet to make his mind up about which club he will choose.

Campbell reportedly turned down a three-year offer from Motherwell. With that being the case, Motherwell have apparently given him the all clear to go and visit other clubs.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Football Insider claim that Campbell “is regarded as one of the outstanding young talents in Scotland”. Therefore, we would like to see him sign for Liverpool.

However, we would not be surprised if he picked a club like Leeds United or Brighton. The reality is, Liverpool have won the Champions League and Premier League title in the past 15 months. They are currently one of the best teams in the world.

If Campbell wants first-team opportunities at a Premier League club, it would make more sense for him to sign for a club like Leeds United or Brighton.

Last season, Leeds United were promoted to the Premier League and Brighton finished 15th. That highlights that both clubs are currently behind Liverpool by some margin.

With that being the case, Campbell is more likely to get an opportunity at one of those clubs, which is why we can see him signing for one or the other.
