According to The Daily Mail, Manchester United, Liverpool and Ajax all sent scouts out to watch Sulemana in action over the weekend and were impressed by the forward.

The report claims United and Ajax are leading the race for the £12m-rated teenager, with Liverpool not thought to be favourites at this stage.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

This is not one for Liverpool fans to get excited about just yet, as United and Ajax appear more likely suitors for the Ghanian at this moment in time. He does not appear to be a player Liverpool are aggressively pursuing at this stage as they are simply scouting him in action for his current club. Liverpool scouts could be watching players across the globe, with Sulemana one of many they could be keeping their eyes on as we head towards the summer transfer window.

The teenager has been in impressive form this season. Sulemana has managed 10 goals and six assists in 27 appearances, showing that he can score and create goals in equal measure. Given that he is only 19, Sulemana could be seen as a player for the future and one Liverpool could potentially sign and then loan out to another club to further his development before looking at him again further down the line.

However, as mentioned previously, Liverpool are not close to any deal for Sulemana. It could be a name to keep an eye out for in the coming weeks, though, in case the likes of United and Ajax decide to look elsewhere and the door opens up for Liverpool to make their move for the young foward.
