Liverpool have reportedly received transfer bids for Marko Grujic, Harry Wilson and Rhian Brewster as the trio close in on possible exits from Anfield.

According to the Liverpool Echo, a number of top clubs across Europe are showing an interest in all three of the players and bids have come in for each of them in recent weeks.

The report claims that Liverpool are hoping to generate £60m through the sales of Grujic, Wilson and Brewster, although it is not clear how much they are valued at individually to reach that amount.

Despite bids coming, there have been no deals agreed for any of them as of yet. However, the Echo claims that talks are progressing towards acceptable offers.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

If Liverpool are able to bring in £60m from selling Wilson, Brewster and Grujic it could represent an incredible transfer window for the Reds. Transfermarkt claim that Liverpool have spent roughly £79m on new signing this summer, whilst they have brought in £14m to date. Adding the £60m to that total would mean that Liverpool finish the window – assuming no one else comes or goes – with a net spend of just £5m.

Considering they have been able to bring in a proven Premier League forward – Diogo Jota – a Champions League winner – Thiago Alcantara – and a promising left-back – Kostas Tsimikas – it appears a great window on paper for the Reds. Being able to make these three additions to their squad at a cost of £5m and losing three players who were all away on loan last season could be excellent work from Michael Edwards and Jurgen Klopp.

It is now down to whether or not these interested parties can put in acceptable offers for Grujic, Brewster and Wilson and bring in the £60m Liverpool want. With just under a week left in the international window and just over two weeks left in the domestic window, October could be a busy month for the people behind the scenes on Merseyside.
