ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We don’t know exactly how long Elliott will be sitting on the sidelines for. However, expert surgeon Mike Hennessey has told the Daily Mail that the 18-year-old could be out of action for six months.

Therefore, it would make sense for the club to sign a forward come January.

Adeyemi is a promising player. The 19-year-old has scored 17 goals and registered 16 assists in 60 appearances for RB Salzburg.

Adeyemi would also be a long-term investment for the club due to his age. Only time will tell if the aforementioned report is true.
