Liverpool have an agreement in place with Watford for forward Ismaila Sarr, according to France Football, as cited by Sport Witness.

The report states that Liverpool Football Club have met with Sarr’s representatives after a “€35-40 million agreement” was reached between the Reds and Watford.

The report adds that Sarr’s wages still need to be sorted.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Going by footage, Sarr is a player that has acceleration, determination, a decent shot and he can dribble with the ball. With that being the case,  he would add something to any team in world football.

Sarr has also stated in the past that “everyone would love to play for Liverpool”, which does suggest that he would be open to the move.

However, none of the journalists close to the club have reported that a deal has been agreed between Liverpool and Watford for Sarr.

Only time will tell if Liverpool are to sign Sarr this summer. We don’t see it happening, as the club already possess forwards such as Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Divock Origi and Diogo Jota.
