The first images have been released of Liverpool’s planned redevelopment to their Anfield Road stand.
A £60m expansion is in the works that would see the stadium’s capacity increased to just over 61,000.

The work will only take place on the Anfield Road end, which would receive a boost with the addition of 7,000 new seats.
That would take the capacity of that particular stand to 16,000 by the time work is completed.
The Champions League holders are hoping to submit a formal application for planning permission early next year.
As well as the new seats, there are also plans for new hospitality facilities and an indoor fan park.
