Everton defender Ben Godfrey took motivation from a early morning prank from a Liverpool fan ahead of victory at Anfield.
The Athletic reports Godfrey took inspiration from a joke by a Liverpool fan for the 2-0 win at Anfield.

A Kopite attempted to play a prank on the Everton squad by setting off an alarm at 1am to disturb Carlo Ancelotti's squad ahead of the big game.
The article states that however, the incident only served to inspire Everton, and defender Godfrey was particularly motivated.
The Blues were comfortable 2-0 winners at Anfield on Saturday.
