Liverpool player reveals Reds hold League Cup target | OneFootball

Caoimhin Kelleher has revealed that the Reds have hopes of going far in the League Cup this season if possible.

The Reds overcame Norwich on Tuesday night with the stopper helping them along after saving a penalty during the game.

Indeed, it’s another example of the quality he has possession of and he is eyeing a run in the competition this year.

He said via the club website:

Look, we want to win every competition we are in. This one especially is for younger players and for people like me who don’t get that many games, it’s a good opportunity to get more games, so the more we progress the more games we will get.

Kelleher is a really good young goalkeeper and hopefully, he can use the cup competitions to keep underlining that.

It would be great to see him inspire a run in the cups and potentially help pick up some silverware.
