Liverpool are looking set to keep Naby Keita for the coming season, as per a report from James Pearce for the Athletic.

The Reds have had a pretty quiet summer window so far with Ibrahima Konate the only senior arrival.

Indeed, we’ve also seen exits with the main one being Gini Wijnaldum, whilst there has been talk of the likes of Keita leaving this summer too.

However, as per James Pearce, Keita is set to stay for the coming campaign – though things are now make or break for him on Merseyside:

We all know Keita has quality and is a good player but that is not the problem with him.

His fitness has been nothing short of shocking since his arrival from Red Bull Leipzig and so far, he has been a disappointment in red.

We know that he can produce the goods on the pitch, however, and hopefully this season coming will be the one where he does.
