Fiorentina finished the season in a disappointing 13th position in the Italian top-flight. The lone bright spot has been Vlahovic. With 21 goals and two assists in 37 appearances, he really came into his own this season.

With some of the Liverpool forwards such as Firmino and Mane not enjoying their best seasons in front of goal, Liverpool are naturally looking for attacking reinforcements. That is why the club are believed to have started talks with Vlahovic over a transfer. The youngster’s potential is now clear for all to see and a bid of around £43m could see him move.
