Liverpool midfielder Minamino ready for preseason: But I don't know what will happen

Liverpool midfielder Takumi Minamino admits he's unsure of his future at Anfield.

The Liverpool Echo says encouraged by his performances on-loan with Southampton and Japan, this summer could prove to be a turning point for Minamino and allow him to really kickstart his Liverpool career.

Clubs from both the Premier League and the Bundesliga would be interested in signing Minamino, but the forward remains a part of Jurgen Klopp's plans and he will link up with his team-mates for pre-season next month.

But speaking in Japanese, Minamino is quoted saying this week: "I don't know what will happen, but for now, for the preseason, I'd like to go back to Liverpool and do my best there."
