Spurs were in a bad situation when the Italian manager joined the club in the 2021/22 season.
But he was able to transform their fortunes and guide them to a top four spot and Champions League qualification.
Conte likes his teams to be physical and that’s exactly what he has implemented at Tottenham.
Conte has made nine signings since joining the club.
And none of the players he has bought in is shorter than 6 feet tall. The shortest is Yves Bissouma, who stands at 6 foot 0 inches, while the tallest is Frazer Forster, who is 6 foot 7.
And, thanks to Conte’s additions, Tottenham now have the tallest squad in the Premier League.
View the average height of every Premier League side’s squad below…
Brighton & Hove Albion – 181cm
Chelsea – 181cm
Southampton – 181cm
Wolverhampton Wanderers – 181cm
Arsenal – 182cm
Aston Villa – 182cm
Brentford – 182cm
Fulham – 182cm
Liverpool – 182cm
Manchester United – 182cm
Manchester City – 182cm
Nottingham Forest – 182cm
AFC Bournemouth – 183cm
Crystal Palace – 183cm
Leeds United – 183cm
Leicester City – 183cm
West Ham United – 183cm
Everton – 184cm
Newcastle United – 184cm
Tottenham Hotspur – 185cm
Spurs now have the tallest squad in the Premier League, followed by Newcastle and Everton.
While at the other end of the spectrum, Brighton, Chelsea, Southampton and Wolves have the smallest squads in England’s top tier.
Liverpool, Man City and Man United’s squads have an average height of 182cm.
Of course, how tall or small a squad is isn’t of paramount importance, as shown by Liverpool and Man City, who are in the bottom 10 for squad heights but are the two best sides in England at the moment.
But the data still makes for interesting reading and shows Conte is attempting to build a squad of giants at Spurs.
