Liverpool have formally asked for the VAR audio from their controversial defeat to Tottenham.

According to multiple reports, Jürgen Klopp’s side made the request in the aftermath of Luis Díaz’s disallowed first-half goal last weekend.

The PGMOL acknowledge that the Colombian’s ruled-out strike was a “significant human error” by VAR operator Darren England and assistant Dan Cook.

But Anfield officials are set to scrutinise the incident further after demanding “full transparency” around the events which led to Díaz’s goal being chalked off.
