Liverpool are once again being linked with striker Gabigol with his club Flamengo willing to let him go for around £4om.

This is one of those rumours that you see coming up pretty much every transfer window and so that has proven to be the case here, with the striker regularly being linked with a move to Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp is said to be a fan of the 24-year-old.

According to Globoesporte via teamtalk, the Reds are once more interested in him and his current club, Flamengo, is willing to sell – though they are looking for £40m for the privilege.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We’re not overly convinced about this one in all truth.

Liverpool may well appreciate him as a player but it’s a transfer rumour that comes up a lot when the markets are open for business so we’ll be forgiven for taking this with a pinch of salt.
