The Arne Slot era at Liverpool got underway with a narrow preseason victory over Real Betis in Pittsburgh Friday evening.

While Liverpool dominated the ball in the opening half-hour, they did little to threaten former teammate Adrián in the Betis goal until Dominik Szoboszlai collected a slick Mo Salah pass before slotting home his shot into the bottom corner.
