Laws initially joined Liverpool on loan from Sunderland back in 2013 before returning to the club on a permanent basis in summer 2020. The keeper was a WSL title-winner with The Reds in 2013 before celebrating winning the Barclays WSL2 title in 2021/2022, along with promotion back to the top tier. Laws has made 108 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions throughout her time with the club.

The player’s experience continues to be a huge asset for Liverpool and the club have moved to retain her services for the new season.

After signing on again with Liverpool, Laws said “It was a no brainer when the club said they wanted to keep me here. This is my home, I’ve got a house here.

“When they said they wanted to keep me I was like ‘where do I sign?’ I’m looking forward to the next year or so, so let’s see what happens.”

Further Liverpool squad news will be revealed by the club in due course.
