The Mirror reports that Liverpool have joined the race for Russian youngster Fedor Chalov.
The 21-year-old CSKA Moscow star has also attracted the interest of Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City, according to the report.
Chalov has also attracted attention from Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund, Monaco and Sevilla, according to the report.
The report adds that the forward finished the season as the highest goal scorer in the Russian league, and has been at CSKA since he was eight.
The youngster scored 15 goals and provided seven assists for CSKA last season. The report claims that the forward is valued at £20million, and has a contract with CSKA until June 2022.
The Reds have already signed Sepp van den Berg this summer, with the 17-year-old set to feature in pre-season.
The centre-back is one of the hottest properties in Dutch football, and it will be interesting to track his growth in the upcoming campaign.
Harvey Elliott, who is just 16, is also close to joining Liverpool (h/t Sky Sports). The Fulham star rejected a new deal with the Cottagers and is another bright talent in the English game.
Elliott became the youngest player to feature in the Premier League last season, but Fulham had to deal with relegation and were relegated to the Championship.
