Liverpool are expected to rebuild their midfield this summer and have already been linked with Mason Mount and Jude Bellingham.

However, they may also look to make additions in defence to help them compete with Manchester City and Arsenal next season.

The Merseyside giants have reportedly found a perfect option in Ndicka who ticks all the boxes for them.

The 23-year-old mainly plays as a centre-back, although he can also operate at left-back and in midfield.

His current contract at Frankfurt expires this summer, and he has reportedly turned down a final offer from his German employers.

Liverpool can sign the defender on a free transfer, making him a desirable option.

However, the Reds face competition from Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan (as per Mundo Deportivo).

Ndicka has been with Frankfurt since 2018 and has made over 170 senior appearances for the club.

The Frenchman was a key member of the team that won the Europa League last season, starting in 10 matches, including the final against Rangers.

The talented centre-back has also flourished this season, making 35 appearances across all competitions.

Ndicka looks to have all the attributes to shine in the Premier League, but Liverpool face a battle to secure his services.
