Klopp is yet to hold a press conference for this weekend’s Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

However, some young fans were invited on a tour of the Kirkby training centre and got the chance to speak with the legendary manager, who gave updates on absent players.

Alisson has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since the Reds’ 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on February 4.

Caoimhin Kelleher has deputised admirably for the Brazilian goalkeeper, but Klopp will be keen to have his first-choice stopper for the crucial title run-in.

When a fan asked, “How’s Alisson?” Klopp answered (via the Daily Mail): “Two and a half to three weeks. It’s not that long anymore.”

If Alisson misses three weeks, he will miss games against Brighton & Hove Albion, Sheffield United, Manchester United, Atalanta and Crystal Palace.

Klopp confirmed Alexander-Arnold is close to a return. He is reportedly targeting a comeback for the Man United game.

Matip, who has not played since December, is training but the manager did not say when he will be fully fit.

Despite the Reds suffering a plethora of injuries, several players have stepped up to fill the gap.

Kelleher has been stellar for the Merseyside club, helping the team claim the League Cup with massive saves in the final against Chelsea.

Jarell Quansah has filled the void left by Matip, delivering good performances every time he has been called upon.

The most impressive of the bunch has been right-back Conor Bradley, who has produced top performances for the Reds.

The 20-year-old has carried that form to his national team, debuting for Northern Ireland and bagging the winner and man of the match award against Scotland.
