Liverpool are ‘increasingly unlikely’ to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund this summer with the club facing significant challenges in their pursuit of the midfielder.

Bellingham is expected to at the centre of a bidding war between Europe’s top clubs, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid having been considered the frontrunners to sign the England international.

Borussia Dortmund are reluctant to lose the 19-year-old and will demand a huge fee for Bellingham, who has no release clause in his contract at the Bundesliga side.
