Liverpool have reportedly entered the race to sign a €35 million French midfielder | OneFootball

Liverpool are interested in signing Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, according to ESPN, as cited by The Anfield Buzz’s Twitter account.

The report states that the Reds have entered the race to sign the 21-year-old. Tchouameni will not be available on a free transfer in the near future.

The Frenchman’s contract does not expire until the summer of 2024. With that being the case, Liverpool will have to spend some money to sign Tchouameni.

Transfermarkt value the midfielder at €35 million.

Tchouameni is a player that we like the look of. The midfielder has scored five goals and registered four assists in 60 appearances for Monaco.

Tchouameni is also averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.26 in the early stages of the 2021-22 Ligue 1 campaign.

The aforementioned figures highlight that the 21-year-old is a capable senior footballer.

Due to Tchouameni’s age, it would be fair to assume that he is far from the finished article.

The youngster would add quality to Liverpool’s midfield. Therefore, hopefully the Reds sign Tchouameni in the near future.
