The midfielder has really caught the eye in the Premier League during his spell with the men from the AMEX stadium and it is clear that he could be getting a big move in the next transfer market.
According to The Times, Bissouma has now asked to leave Brighton this summer with the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City all watching on and ready to try and bring him in.
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Yves Bissouma is a player of considerable talent and one that the Reds may well be able to help keep on improving and progressing.
Indeed, he is in the sort of profile that the Reds usually go for with their signings and as the future of Gini Wijnaldum continues to remain up in the air, there will be natural interest and speculation over Bissouma and his situation at Brighton.
It sounds like he wants a move away, then, and we’ll have to see if Liverpool are the ones to get him.
