Liverpool fans seemingly all want Arne Slot to start one midfielder against AC Milan, who he described as 'important' in the past.
Arne Slot hasn't really rotated his squad too much so far during his Liverpool tenure.
In his first four games in charge of the club, he's only started 12 players. But that should change at the San Siro on Tuesday night.
The Reds' stars were visibly lethargic against Nottingham Forest at the weekend after a gruelling international break.
Some of them will need to recharge and rest, which means Slot will need to use his fringe players on his Champions League bow as the club's head coach.
The Japanese international has played just one minute of action under Slot so far this season.
It's clear, despite the Dutchman claiming he was an 'important' part of the squad back in the summer, there are others in the pecking order ahead of Endo.
However, while Slot may not rate him as first choice, some Liverpool fans are certainly keen to see the 31-year-old midfielder in the starting line-up.
Under the highlights of Liverpool's defeat to forest on the club's official YouTube account, the top five comments all brought up the issue of Endo not playing football:
@Hannah-v2m: Endo deserves GAME TIME
@lamham7650: Even if Slot you doesn't like Endo, should at least send him on to balance and stabilise the midfield when McAlister was substituted, and take a good look at last year's game tapes and see what a great and efficient midfield combination Endo + Mac are. Every substitution yesterday ruined the team, incl moving Trent to the midfield, replacing Diaz, and not using Endo anyway.
@ajtect: Trent moving into midfield alone with Gravenberch makes the defense in the middle really weak. Thats why u need Endo. McAlister still have good positioning, but if its Trent, ur at a disadvantage defensively actually
@NiBazuu: Why is Endo not playing?
@NetrakumarRasaili: We need endo in our squad
Against AC Milan, Endo looks set to come into the side and he will be hoping to make a positive impression on Slot.
