Asensio enjoyed a decent campaign at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium after he managed to put in some eye-catching performances despite receiving limited game over the past 11 months. Asensio is a decent playmaker in the opponent’s half as he has got the vision to create a few good chances for his teammates from the wide areas. The Spanish winger is usually composed in front of the opposition goal and can even complete some dangerous dribbles in the attacking end of the pitch. He mainly operates as a right-sided wide player but can even fill in as a left-winger or function as an attacking midfielder down the middle if required.

At 26, Asensio is currently entering his prime, so it is no wonder that Liverpool are showing interest in recruiting the Spaniard during this summer transfer window.
