Guehi has played 36 Premier League games this term, helping his side keep three clean sheets. He has scored one goal and created one big chance.

Liverpool need defensive reinforcements and have the England international on their radar. They have joined the long list of clubs trying to sign him.

However, Palace’s £50 million price tag on Guehi could force the Merseyside club to look elsewhere.

They are currently prioritising midfield additions. They are pushing to sign Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Reds are also eyeing moves for Nicolo Barella, Khephren Thuram, Mason Mount and Conor Gallagher.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have signalled their interest in Guehi. The Gunners need defensive cover for William Saliba.

Spurs’ defence has been poor all season, and they want to bring in new faces to address the situation.

Manchester United could also look his way as they seek to replace Harry Maguire this summer.

Palace will not decide on Guehi’s future until they have a new permanent manager in place. Interim manager Roy Hodgson temporarily replaced Patrick Vieira and improved their performances.

The 75-year-old is in the running to take the job permanently, but they are exploring other options.

The profit Palace will earn from the Guehi sale could tempt them into selling. The former Chelsea centre-back has a deal until 2026, giving Palace all the leverage in negotiations.

Palace are readying an offer for Bournemouth midfielder Jefferson Lerma. The 28-year-old is a free agent when his contract with the Cherries expires this summer.
