Liverpool & England legend Robbie Fowler releases NFT collection for charity | OneFootball

Liverpool and England football legend, Robbie Fowler is dropping his very first NFT collection with proceeds going to charity.

The Robbie Fowler Collection is an exclusive 6-piece digital art line designed by Project XIV capturing the most iconic moments of Fowler's decorated career. The collection also comes with various perks that are designed to reward the most loyal of fans, including match tickets to a Liverpool game accompanied by the man himself.

Fowler famously played for Liverpool Football Club between 1993 – 2001 and once again in 2006 - 2007, winning numerous trophies and earning him 26 England caps.

“I have been blessed with a long and great footballing career that allowed me to fulfil my childhood dreams. With the release of this NFT collection, I wanted to take this opportunity to give back to you, the fans for all your great support you've shown me over the years", said Fowler.

The collection comprises of 3 digital trading cards, 1 limited edition and a one of one auction piece, each NFT capturing an iconic moment in Fowler's career including his infamous arms in the air celebration, his time with the Three Lions, and his “Support The 500 Sacked Dockers" t-shirt celebration. The main piece, a one of one auction titled “God – The ultimate fan experience with Robbie" is an art piece inspired by Liverpool's landmark Royal Liverbuilding and comes with two tickets accompanied by Robbie himself to a Liverpool home game for the 2021/22 season.

The winning bidder will also walk away with a signed jersey, a signed pair of football boots, a signed copy of Robbie's autobiography, a signed print version of the NFT and a video call with Robbie.

The creative agency behind the NFTs is the talented, up-and-coming Project XIV who has previously worked on projects for Nike, Adidas, Sony, Pink Floyd, SlipKnot and the Football Association. A portion of proceeds from this sale will go toward the Fowler Education and Football Academy whose mission is to empower young people with football and education opportunities to prepare them for their next career step.

The drop will officially take place on 12:00PM BST (6.00PM Singapore Standard Time), July 9th, 2021 exclusively on Mintable (Mintable.app/RobbieFowler).
