That's the short-term plan. But long-term as Anfield Watch exclusively revealed Liverpool see Pecsi as a first choice keeper who could go onto play for the Reds for a long-time.
Pecsi is ranked second among goalkeepers in the prestigious Golden Boy rankings and his agent, Matyas Esterhazy has revealed he believes he is one of the best goalkeeping talents in the world.
"For a long time we have thought that Armin, in and around his age-group, is one of the most valuable goalkeepers [in the world] and one of the individuals with the most potential," Esterhazy told M4 Sport.
"This is what Liverpool probably spotted as well and we are very happy they did."
Having done extensive data and scouting reports on Pecsi, Liverpool will be of the same opinion.
The Reds have made it a mission to sign only the best players in world football. That's why they have gone all out to bring in Wirtz and Kerkez.
It's also why they signed Frimpong, who is regarded as one of the best right-backs in the world.
Not to mention Mamardashvili, who alongside Pecsi is seen as another world-class goalkeeping prospect.
The plan for the Reds is to build a long-term dynasty and Pecsi is a part of those ambitions. He represents shrewd investment and a major coup.
