Carvalho is a talented footballer. The 19-year-old scored 11 goals and registered eight assists in 38 appearances for Fulham's first-team this season.

Carvalho also averaged a WhoScored player rating of 7.12 across the 2021-22 Championship campaign.

After Carvalho made his full league debut for Fulham back in May 2021, Scott Parker (the manager at the time) provided an insight into how good the attacking midfielder could be in the years to come.

As quoted by London News Online, he told the club's official website the following: “There were positives in the game, Fabio’s goal and performance was a positive. We huffed and puffed and we have done that all year. The endeavour and the spirit was the same as we’ve seen throughout the season. We put a lot of pressure on there goal at times but what we lacked was that final part.

“Fabio was lively, he had great amounts of energy. All round his performance was very good for a young boy that has come into the team for his full debut. He showed real courage and bravery, he’s earnt the right to get into this team. He’s not in this team because our season’s over, he’s in the team because he deserves it."

The aforementioned figures and comments highlight that Liverpool have signed a player of real quality. We look forward to watching Carvalho represent the Reds in the years to come.
