Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits Thiago Alcantara won't be seen until next month.
Klopp has revealed he does not expect Thiago to play for Liverpool again until after the October international break due to a calf injury.
The Spain international suffered the injury in the Premier League win against Crystal Palace at Anfield last weekend, and was subsequently ruled out of the Carabao Cup third-round victory at Norwich on Tuesday.
Speaking about Thiago's injury ahead of the Reds' late-kick off at the Brentford Community Stadium on Saturday, Klopp said: "It's not 100 per cent clear when he will be back. It's a muscle in the calf.
"It's an issue, obviously. After the international break probably. I don't think it would be anything earlier."
