Liverpool could make a move for West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen in the near future, according to transfer insider Dean Jones, as cited by The Anfield Buzz's Twitter account.

Jones has made it clear that the Reds are seriously interested in signing the 25-year-old.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has stated in the past that he is a fan of Bowen.

“I like Bowen a lot, he made his way up from, was it Hull, if I’m right?” Klopp said, as quoted by This Is Anfield.

“And took not too long to get there, to show exactly what kind of player he can be in the Premier League as well, made big steps.”

Bowen's contract does not expire until the summer of 2025. The Englishman possesses a current market value of €35 million.

Bowen is having a very good season for West Ham United. The winger has scored 12 goals and registered 11 assists in 36 appearances.

Bowen has also been averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.22 across the 2021-22 campaign.

West Ham United manager David Moyes had plenty of good things to say about the Englishman earlier this month.

“He has stepped up when we needed him, his goals and assists have been great," said the 58-year-old, as quoted by Football London.

“So now what we want from Jarrod is consistency but he has become a little bit more in control of himself and an understanding of the all-round situation, his finishing has become very good recently and he is in good form, we talk about confidence and Jarrod is in a really good being of confidence which is important for the forward players.”

The aforementioned figures and comments highlight that Bowen is a good footballer.

Therefore, we would not be against Liverpool making a move for the winger. Bowen would certainly add quality and depth to Klopp's squad. You can never have too many good players around the first-team.
